GreaseTech Drainage Solutions joined the FEA this month and their Business Development Executive Steve Edwards, has outlined more about who they are and why they decided to become a member. 

Tell us about how your business got started.

GreaseTech Drainage Solutions Limited are an established service provider to many key accounts. The directors, managers and staff have many years of experience in providing reliable client satisfaction to more than 4500 sites nationally. Primarily offering a hybrid Grease Management & Reactive Drainage service, operating nationally with over 30 directly employed field-based engineers and controlled by one head office. Supplying, installing and maintaining quality grease management solutions in commercial kitchens with a proactive approach to providing long term resolutions.

What is the biggest challenge for your business right now?
As a national company trying to correctly advise and service our clients needs with the most appropriate solution in a time where there is a disconnect between water company’s enforcement requests and information. This added to the financial hardships that have been faced by the hospitality industry in the last few years.

What are the drawing factors for joining FEA?

It is a well-publicised fact that the grease management industry is desperate for regulations and standards. As an ethical company we want to be right at the forefront of shaping those standards and regulations in the interest of the end user and the environment. Being part of the FEA and subgroups within, enables our company to help achieve this.
