Charitable Endeavour Award

The FEA Charitable Endeavour award, sponsored by Meiko, seeks to recognise the effort, dedication, and achievement in supporting charitable causes from foodservice and hospitality businesses during the past 12 months. Submissions can be standalone events or ongoing charitable work.

If you have taken part in or organised a fundraising event on behalf of a charity during the past 12 months, then we are keen to hear from you. We welcome submissions from teams, companies, groups, and individuals. We want to hear about how your commitment to a cause has helped support those that need it most.

  • Nomination deadline: Friday 18th September 2026. Entry is free and open to the whole sector.
  • Award presentation: Wednesday 18th November 2026 at the FEA Industry Conference Opening Dinner.

COMPANY CATEGORY - This category recognises an organisation's overall, sustained, and strategic commitment to charitable causes.

TEAM CATEGORY - This category recognises a specific group of individuals (from one or multiple organisations, including a team within a company) who successfully conceived, planned, and delivered a single initiative or project. The focus is on the team's direct effort, creativity, and collaborative success.

INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY - This category recognises an individual who has shown outstanding commitment and dedication to a charitable cause. Whether through fundraising, volunteering, or inspiring others to get involved, the award celebrates the impact one person can make and the difference their efforts have made to their chosen charity and wider community.

For each category, judges will consider five key areas:

  • The event or activity undertaken
  • The training, planning, and commitment required to deliver it
  • The impact on the chosen charity and wider community
  • The overall success of the challenge or initiative
  • How it brought people together
