Tell us about how your business got started.
Eco Clarity was founded to tackle the growing problem of fat, oil and grease (FOG) waste in commercial kitchens. With a background in sustainable waste management, our team saw an opportunity to transform a problem into a solution—recovering FOG from grease traps and drainage systems and converting it into feedstock for renewable biofuels. Since launching, we’ve worked with businesses, water companies and waste carriers to create a circular economy approach to grease management, helping the foodservice industry reduce environmental impact while staying compliant.
What do you love most about the foodservice equipment industry?
The foodservice equipment industry is constantly evolving, with innovations that improve efficiency, hygiene and sustainability. We love working with forward-thinking businesses that recognise the importance of responsible grease management and are looking for ways to improve their waste handling processes. Collaboration across the industry allows us to bring real, measurable environmental benefits while supporting the smooth operation of commercial kitchens.
What is the biggest challenge for your business right now?
One of the biggest challenges we face is raising awareness about the impact of FOG waste and the benefits of proper grease management. Many businesses are still unaware of the financial and environmental costs of improper disposal. Educating foodservice operators and working closely with equipment providers to integrate effective grease management solutions is a key focus for us.
What are the drawing factors for joining FEA?
Joining FEA is a natural step for us as we expand our engagement with the foodservice sector. We’re excited to connect with industry professionals, share insights on sustainable grease management, and collaborate on solutions that help businesses meet their environmental goals. FEA’s commitment to industry standards and innovation aligns perfectly with our mission to drive sustainability in commercial kitchens.
