FEA launches Principles of Foodservice mentor scheme

We are seeking the help of CFSP accredited individuals to volunteer as Principles of Foodservice mentors.

The benefits of Principles of Foodservice
If you have recently taken on a new member of staff or had to re-organise your team as a result of Coronavirus then PFS provides the perfect grounding, introducing delegates to the world of foodservice equipment.
How is Principles of Foodservice delivered?
Delivered in a few hours, Principles of Foodservice is a short-course that provides new starters with a sufficient level of industry knowledge to allow them undertake their day-to-day responsibilities with confidence.
Whether you decide to deliver PFS in one go or across the course of a week the choice is entirely up to you.
PFS consists of a number of PowerPoint modules that culminate in short question and answer summaries. Each mentor will be provided with the course learnings and guided through how to deliver the course.

- Distribution channels
- Effective food storage
- Food hygiene
- Food preparation
- Commercial kitchen equipment
- Kitchen and restaurant layout and design
