Directors’ Health and Safety Leadership Course:

When: Tuesday, 14 May 2019, 10:00-14:00

Where: Eversheds office, London.

What it is: Managing health and safety from the top of an organisation has a number of challenges; directors need to demonstrate a commitment to health and safety, but this has to fit within the demands of leadership.  This session is designed to consider the ways in which board members can positively contribute towards the safety culture of their organisation, whilst avoiding over-reliance on statistics and ‘template’ behaviours.  

The course will cover:

•        legal duties of senior managers;

•        standards of supervision and monitoring and the ‘easy wins’; and

•        assessing and improving safety culture ‘from the top’.

Who should attend: Directors. 

Cost: £300 plus VAT for CESA members, £600 plus VAT for non-members.
