Cooking & Warming Product Group Forum Meeting: UL Solutions in attendance for inclusion on the ETL Register

The forum’s first meeting for 2023, will be on Tuesday 21st February, at 2:00 pm via Zoom, where we welcome Giorgio Decataldo and Stefano Traversi from UL Solutions.

The agenda for the meeting is outlined below, the invitation has already been sent out to members, therefore anyone who is not already in the Cooking & Warming Product Group and like to be, please email Sarah-Jane Campbell at sj.campbell@fea.org.uk. 

• Brief introduction to Giorgio and Stefano from UL solutions plus the introduction of all in attendance.
• Overview of the ETL criteria and the reasoning for independent testing to the new testing standard for convection and combination ovens by Andy Threlfall.
• UL Solutions to provide, an introduction to their testing laboratory in Italy and what information they will require from the manufacturer before sending equipment for testing.
• UL Solutions to provide a sequence of processes if anyone wants to do a self-test and have the results either witnessed or verified.
• Questions and answer session from the members.
