CMA fines business £2.7 million for resale price maintenance + see advice for businesses
The CMA seeks to remind businesses of the dangers of RPM.
In their latest case the business got a 25% fine uplift for ignoring an earlier CMA warning letter so there are some additional lessons to learn from this case. The businesses also tried to avoid detection by not putting anything in writing but this didn’t stop the CMA from investigating and unearthing the bad practices.
