CESA's Steve Loughton elected EFCEM President 2015-2016

Steve Loughton was elected President of the European Federation of Catering Equipment Manufacturers (EFCEM) at the Federation’s annual General Assembly which was hosted by the Irish Foodservice Suppliers Association (IFSA) in Dublin on 23rd June.

EFCEM comprises eight member nations across Europe who between them have over 550 individual company members with a total annual turnover exceeding €3.6 bn. EFCEM works in Brussels at the heart of European technical and policy development and our own Keith Warren is the chair of its Technical Committee.

Steve is an active CESA council member, Managing Director of Jestic Foodservice Equipment, and a previous EFCEM President.  Upon his appointment Steve said that he "looks forward to further developing EFCEM's profile with European national associations and member companies. There will be a number of exciting new initiatives over the course of the coming year which will demonstrate the global importance of our European equipment industry."

Drewry Pearson of IFSA and Managing Director of Marco Beverage Systems was appointed Vice President and will take over the Presidency from Steve in June 2016.
