Economic and Policy Update

Following request from a number of members and as part of our ongoing work to keep our members well informed on the effects of Brexit on their business, CESA has partnered with The GAMBICA Association for the next Oxford Economics, Economic & Policy Update on 6th November 2019.

We are working in partnership with colleagues in GAMBICA as the leading Trade Association for Instrumentation, Control, Automation and Laboratory Technology in the UK.

You can register now (at the Early bird rate of £150 +VAT) and put the date in your diary.

We have secured a discounted member rate to all CESA members.

The event will take place in London at The Shard from 9:30 – 15:00.

The AGENDA consists of interactive sessions from expert speakers on the current trends in the economic and political environment:
UK and World macro-economic trends and forecast
Oxford Economics
UK industry markets trends and forecast
Oxford Economics
The new UK / EU relationship
Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)
Trends in the pharmaceutical industry
Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry
Digital Marketing Essentials
Publitek
(see attached agenda for more details)

The timing of this event means it will be in the week following the 31st October, when the UK is set to leave the EU unless any further deal or delay is negotiated between now and then. The session from Terry Boniface at BEIS will be able to provide an insight into the latest government thinking and advice at that time.

In addition to the presentations and opportunity to ask questions, you will also receive a detailed report from Oxford Economics and copies of the presentations.

On top of being a valuable input to your company strategic and budget planning process, it is also an excellent opportunity to network with both CESA and GAMBICA members.

The Earlybird rate for GAMBICA AND CESA members for the event and report is £150 + VAT per person, until 30th September. To register your place now, please complete the registration on Eventbrite - http://bit.ly/2NS0RFo. Be sure to register using the GAMBICA member discounted rate.
