Tabletop Trends: Ambiente
Ambiente – the really BIG LET show
7-11 February 2025, Messe Frankfurt, Germany
It’s the big one – Ambiente is the massive consumer goods show that’s really big in terms of LET and HoReCa too. It claims the number one slot in international tableware exhibitions, but it’s even bigger than that, being split into four areas: Dining (covering tableware, kitchen and household); Living (interior design, furniture and decoration); Giving (all things gift-related); and Working (think office equipment and accessories).
Several of FEA’s LET members will be exhibiting at Ambiente and here some of them give their comments on what makes it so important and how visitors can make the most of the show.
Dalebrook (Hall 11, Stand B20) will be focusing on their Manhattan Buffet Collection, with new ORE – Hot Counter Solution – sizes. They say, “It draws an international crowd and gives us great visibility. For UK dealers, this is a great way to see new products and to meet with their suppliers. For us, it’s an opportunity to see existing UK distributors and, hopefully, to meet up with new ones.”
Elia (Hall 12.1 Stand D65) will be showcasing a collection of their tabletop ranges from striking cutlery and bone china to lead-free crystal glassware, stylish barware and beverageware items. “Ambiente is a great show for us to connect with our established UK distributors, as well as European and other international customers. It gives great reach for both the hospitality and retail markets globally. The show offers UK dealers the opportunity to view an expansive collection of tableware ranges across a wide spectrum of brands.”
Two of the brands Signature represents in the UK will be exhibiting: de Buyer (Hall 8.0 Stand H89) will show their latest innovations in cookware, pastry and bakeware and utensils. Pinti Inox (Hall 8.0Sstand J69) will be showing cutlery and table top buffetware. “Ambiente is the leading global exhibition for consumer goods, with plenty to see for the HoReCa sector. For us, it’s the ideal opportunity to see the latest product innovations and meet existing and new customers. UK dealers can see both global brands and smaller manufacturers, all under one roof.”
Zodiac (Hall 11, Stand B78) will highlight a range of new products, including Vintage Steel Tableware, featuring elegant dishes, bowls, and more; and stainless steel presentation items, such as French fry cups, mini pans, presentation cups and charlotte pans, in a variety of colours and finishes; and a new induction cookware range, including pans, sauté dishes and stockpots. Parent company Sunnex will show their innovative Waterless Digital Chafers. “Ambiente stands out as one of the leading events for the catering industry, showcasing all aspects of kitchen supplies. It provides an ideal platform to discover new technologies and innovative products, and to connect with like-minded professionals.”
