Lima 2019 Procurement Guide

At the end of September saw Peru celebrated one year to go until Lima hosting the 2019 Pan American and Parapan Games. To coincide with this, and the shift by the Organising Committee towards increasing their procurement of operational requirements, the British Embassy in Lima has produced the attached Lima 2019 Procurement Guide. The Guide provides background information on the Games, the Government-to-Government Agreement, the structure of the Organising Committee, information on the sports infrastructure development and how to get involved with supply chain opportunities, operations requirements, and the three procurement routes (G2G, UNOPS and Public) that Lima is adopting. Points to consider when tendering as well as market entry advice is also included.

Also attached is a translation of the latest list of requirements that will be procured through UNOPS (a UN agency).  A number of these are now appearing on the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) https://www.ungm.org/Public/Notice/ as Requests For Information (RFI) with short deadlines for response. If you are interested in supplying goods or services that are being procured through this route, then we would encourage you to regularly check the UNGM site.
