Newest Associate Member, Latitude Leasing, explains why they are excited about joining the FEA.

1. Tell us about how your business got started.

At Latitude Leasing we work predominantly with vendors, enabling them to offer finance options to their customers.
Siblings Michaela Dodd & Peter Nolan set up the company in 2019 having worked over a decade in the leasing industry. Their father, Mike Nolan set up Academy Leasing in 1987 and built it up to be a hugely successful hybrid leasing firm before selling in 2015, he now sits as our Chairman to provide knowledge and advice as the business grows.
Paul Horan & Parveen Sokee joined the board of Directors in early 2020, having also been in senior positions at Academy Leasing for many years. With the extensive knowledge in our team, the business has gone from strength to strength, and we now lend our own money in addition to working with a panel of over 25 external funders.

2. What do you love most about the foodservice equipment industry?

We absolutely love the diversity of the sector and the people who operate within it! As we arrange finance for customers, we get to help dreams become a reality, and that brings so much satisfaction! We love attending events such as NRB & HRC where we can network and collaborate with suppliers.

3. What is the biggest challenge for your business right now?

As with most of the industry at the moment, supply issues often hampers how quickly deals move ahead. Working closely with our suppliers, we all set the customers’ expectations and ensure that the finance is ringfenced and ready to go as soon as their equipment is!

4. What are the drawing factors for joining FEA?

We are growing ever more involved in the foodservice equipment sector and aim to be the go-to vendor partner in the industry! Being members of the FEA gives us a great network of like-minded professionals to connect and grow our business with.
