Tabletop Trends Live – the reviews are in

‘Great,’ ‘a fantastic range of new products,’ ‘real innovation,’ ‘a splendid venue,’ ‘great food and hospitality.’ Those are just a few of the thoughts from Tabletop Trends Live, at Capital City College London (formerly Westminster Kingsway College) on 24th and 25th March 2026.

This was an event designed to let chefs, restaurateurs, managers and foodservice operators get a sneak preview of the latest ideas in the LET sector. With a venue in the heart of London, and the support of industry luminaries such as the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, The Caterer and Catering Insight, it was bound to create a buzz.

This was the first event of its kind, so FEA was keen to get feedback – and it was very positive.  One of the visitors was Simon Parry of Arolite. “To be able to see these products, like this, it’s great,” he said. “The biggest thing that stands out to me is the availability of solutions.”

Exhibitor WMF, a recently-joined FEA member, had a good show.  Chris Lightfoot, business development manager, said, “The organisation of the event was brilliant, everything went exceptionally well and we received a number of high-quality leads. It was also truly inspiring to connect with such a warm and welcoming group of suppliers – this genuine spirit of industry togetherness is a key takeaway for me.”

Lisa Jenkins, CEO of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, said, “It’s been great to see lots of new products.  This is a really good venue and the event deserves to develop and grow in the future.”

Clare Nicholls, product editor of The Caterer was also enthusiastic, commenting, “A brilliant venue, a central location where everyone can come to see everything in one place at one time. It’s really useful to see what the trends are and what new products are coming in the next few months.”

Paula Sherlock, who is both managing director of Signature FSE and chair of the FEA’s LET product group, played a key role in developing the event. “The idea behind Tabletop Trends Live was to give end users the opportunity to come and see new products and trends. We’ve really enjoyed it – it’s different to the LET Forum, which is for our distributor partners. It’s a great venue, so we hope to come back, but we also hope to take Tabletop Trends Live to other places around the country.”
