New Member Spotlight on Nimbus Products

A hearty welcome to Nimbus Products, a great addition to our family of members that supply light equipment and tableware. Tony Golby gave us his thoughts on the business their decision to join the FEA.

Tell us about how your business got started.

Nimbus was started by the Beck family 50 years ago and was recently acquired by Tim Owrid and Nick Squire. The business focuses on distribution of Falcon Enamelware, the original blue and white enamel.

What do you love most about the foodservice equipment industry?

The diversity and opportunity. There are so many different environments within the industry where we can see our product working.

What is the biggest challenge for your business right now?

The summer weather impacted sales but we were grateful for people eating out when they didn’t feel like cooking at home.

What are the drawing factors for joining FEA?

FEA are a really well-known organisation so it is lovely to be included as a member. It was really important for is to join such a respected organisation and we look forward to meeting everyone.

Anything else?

We look forward to meeting members at events this year and are welcoming enquiries for any enamel enquiries. Look out for new product launches from us this spring/summer.
