Tell us about how your business got started.

Brunel started in 1998 as a small logistics provider specialising with China imports of general cargo. Business has now grown to a 30 million pound group of companies with import and export services worldwide by sea and air and road. We also have our own perishable food stuff customs clearance division.

What do you love most about the foodservice equipment industry?

We have seen huge growth in our perishable customs division, and we also exhibit every year at the IFE food and manufacturing show. This is where we were first introduced to the foodservice equipment sector and we feel this is the right time to continue our growth and showcase our services to your members.

What is the biggest challenge for your business right now?

Automation and AI generally will be a challenge, but if used correctly we can see further growth for the business.

What are the drawing factors for joining FEA?

We see strong synergies with FEA with our customs services – we deal with probably 20 food wholesalers from all over the world, so we intend to continue this growth.
