New Member Spotlight on Bluestem Group
We are delighted to have Bluestem Group as our newest FEA member. They kindly spent a few moments to tell us more about their company and their decision to join our Light Equipment and Tableware Group.
1. Tell us about how your business got started.
Our business started in 1988, originally supplying pre pack electrical accessories however quickly evolved into the electrical appliances market. Since then, evolution has continued with us now being manufacturers in this sector covering a wide breadth of categories such as – kitchen equipment, air treatment, floorcare, refrigeration and many more.
2. What do you love most about the foodservice equipment industry?
As a newcomer to this industry, we see a lot of synergies that resonates with our ethos – which is to support all customers with fantastic service and innovative product.
3. What is the biggest challenge for your business right now?
Rising costs across the country are affecting people’s pockets every day – we are working diligently to drive efficiencies throughout our business to continue to provide quality product without compromising on service.
4. What are the drawing factors for joining FEA?
The opportunity to engage directly with a business sector that we know we can support with consistent in stock supply of quality products, extensive delivery services – including drop ship, and our experienced on the ground Sales Team . Also to meet and network with members via the various organised events to learn and understand how we can further support the industry.
5. Anything else you’d like to add?
Looking forward to the event in May to help us gain more of an understanding of the industry, and importantly get to know the members and the FEA Team!
