Ian Garner: Outstanding Service to the Industry Award

Simon Frost, chair of CESA, and Lisa Jenkins, product and supplies editor of The Caterer were on hand to award Ian Garner the Caterer / CESA Outstanding Service to the Industry Award 2015 at the Hilton Hotel, Wembley.

Commenting on Ian’s contribution to the industry, Simon highlighted his support and significant contribution to CESA, at critical times during the organisation’s evolution. 

Throughout his career Ian has been a great supporter of the work of CESA and has served on the CESA Council from 1998 up to 2014 when he stood down pending his retirement.

His work on behalf of the industry has made a significant contribution to the benefit of all members with some being vital in ensuring CESA’s continued development.

After 40 years with Hobart Ian retired in 2014. He is a non-executive director for Zenith Hygiene and handles a number of industry related projects on a consultancy basis.
