Through rigorous R&D the A+ Fridge cooling system is significantly enhanced to deliver superior performance with the application of a high energy optimised compressor, sustainable hydrocarbon refrigerant (R600a) with low global warming potential, improvement in controller software settings, minimisation of heat loads and optimisation of the system to operate at refrigeration temperatures. In July, Adande revealed their new state-of-the-art Testing Facility, drawing the attention of the then-Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Elizabeth Truss, MP, who formally opened the facility. Adande carried out its self-certification EU label testing at the new facility but specifically went to third party labs too; considering validation as a positive reinforcement for customer confidence. The A+ Fridge, when compared to the already impressive standard VCS/VCR R600A models, has a huge energy saving of 23%. It benefits from the key Adande features around seals, easy cleaning/maintenance regime, drawer runner strength and condenser siting with all the beneficial ergonomics and plan view convenience to boot. Aligning technology with food safety and waste reduction, Adande commissions independent verification and testing via respected institutions such as Griffiths Laboratories, Westminster Kingsway College, and the expertise of specialist chefs - including product testing and endorsement through the prestigious Craft Guild of Chefs.
